Sustainability

At Composition Advisory Limited, we believe sustainability applies to all elements of the business lifecycle:

sustainable BUSINESS PRACTICES – building businesses with the long-term in mind.  This goes for business relationships, products, and approaches to doing business.  Creating real value products and services is likely to be more sustainable in the long run.

sustainable FINANCE – the sources of finance, by which we fund our businesses, need to come from sustainable sources.  This means sensible leverage levels, utilising debt responsibly, allowing equity to accumulate in our businesses and re-investing it in new products or services, and working with like-minded equity partners.

sustainable BUILDINGS – the spaces in which our businesses operate should be built and utilised responsibly, using sustainable building methods where possible, and being mindful of energy and resource use.

sustainable COMMUNITIES – our businesses should engage the communities in which they operate.  It is the community that will support our businesses and we need to give support to our communities.

Bonnie Wong is a member of Urban Land Institute’s European Sustainable Development Council.  She also talks about the built environment, sustainable development, and communities on her blog – Look Up, Look Around.
